So I know Playstation 3 isn’t very well known for having many exclusive titles, not enough to warrant the shelling out the cash to buy one anyway. But with the recent price drop to three hundred dollars it’s a pretty good time to start thinking about buying one. So here is a list of the five most anticipated games coming exclusively to the Playstation 3.
1. Demon’s Souls
Lets face it, I am huge RPG buff, so I couldn’t be more excited to hear about this game. With the major lacking of good RPGs in this console age this game is going to be a must buy for fans like me. It has an online mode and is rumored to have that Japanese-like rpg difficulty (those of you who have heard or played Shin Megumi Tensei will know.) Predicted for North American release this Fall.
2. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2
As with most Ninja Gaiden games this one will likely be another “re-working” of the previous games. Including new bosses, new playable characters, better graphics, and gameplay tweaks. Also introducing an online co-op mode, definitely a game to be looking forward to as a fan of the series, and a good place to pick up for new comers to the title.
3.Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time
Being one of the mascots for Playstation since the release of the Playstation 2 these games seem to never disappoint. Fans of these games never seem to get enough, and this upcoming title is looking to be one of, if not THE best one in the series. You can expect Ratchet & Clank-like improvements, that is to say more exploration, more things to upgrade and more things to blow up.
4. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
Two years ago Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune was released and quickly became a hit, it still remains a breathtaking title and one of the biggest exclusive games. And soon this sequel will be released which vamps up all of which made the original great. They are also introducing online modes, both co-op and competitive.
5. God of War: Collection
Ok, so I know this is a collection, meaning it really isn’t a new game really. But seeing as the games were such a benchmark in gaming, people who missed out or don’t own them will be looking forward to this. For $39.99, it is a rather good deal. They will offer some enhancements as well like better resolution and trophy implementation.
So who says Playstation 3 doesn’t have many games all to itself? With oldies like Folklore, Uncharted, and other overlooked exclusives as well as the upcoming titles and the new price drop, it is a great time to pick up a Playstation 3 and catch up on everything that you have been missing out on.
