Long ago in September 2009 in a Galaxy not so far away, it was one year after Bioware announced the development of a massive MMORPG game in set in the Star Wars universe, and started taking applications from beta testers, for the closed beta release. Now one year down the road, the virtual doors open, and a first selection of beta testers will have the privilege of playing the game for the very first time, in order to find bugs and problems, so Bioware can iron them out.
The first small selections of testers will all be residents of the US, and as the testing continues other regions of the world will be added.
At this very moment it is still possible to register as a beta tester for the game and possibly be included in the testing of the online sci-fi MMORPG.
For those who missed it two years ago, the game is set in the Star Wars universe approximately 300 years after the events in the original game, but long before the events in the popular movies took place. Either sides of the force are available to the players, and they can take up occupations like bounty hunter, smuggler, trooper or Sith warrior.
The official release of the game is scheduled for spring next year.
