CoD Warfare in Space?

Posted by Kraven on May - 15 - 2010

Last week we received some hints from game publisher Activision as to where the CoD franchise is heading, and it appears we are going up to that final frontier and boldly go where no soldier has ever fragged before! The games publisher has registered no less than three CoD related domains, that hint at a Sci-Fi turn of events for the Call of Duty franchise. The domains registered were callofdutyfuturewarfare.com, callofdutyfuturewarfare2.com, and... Read→

_ A new Call of Duty game has just been released! Don’t get excited, though — It’s not being put out by Activision. It’s not even developed by Treyarch or Infinity Ward. Hell, it isn’t even in the third dimension! A second-dimensional, platforming remake of the popular “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2″ has hit the ‘net today. It boasts a total of five minutes of gameplay (seriously). While this is quite... Read→

Ubisoft’s DRM Servers Crash

Posted by Connor on March - 7 - 2010

You may have seen me mocking and ranting about Ubisoft’s DRM that they’ve included in Assassin’s Creed 2. Now consumers who haven’t been paying much attention to gaming news sites such as this are beginning to pay for the unneeded severity of Ubisoft’s rights management software. Following this thread on the Ubisoft website about the issue shows that this issue started many hours ago and is currently ongoing. This is... Read→

Ubisoft’s Draconian DRM Cracked

Posted by Connor on March - 4 - 2010

A few weeks ago, we talked about Ubisoft’s new DRM and how insanely ridiculous it was. I also mentioned something about… *Rubs chin* What was it? Oh yeah. If pirates want something for free, THEY WILL GET IT. This DRM hurts nobody but the paying consumer. And now that statement has been proven. Assassin’s Creed 2, bearing the new over-the-top DRM from Ubisoft, has been cracked and uploaded to warez sites, torrent sites, and newsgroups... Read→

Possible Heavy Rain Movie In The Future

Posted by Connor on February - 28 - 2010

Heavy Rain is a popular recently released Playstation 3 game that plays out as sort of an interactive movie. You make choices that affect what goes on in the game and, ultimately, how it ends. It’s got a runtime of around nine hours altogether – time enough to explore all the details of the plot and develop the characters to a point where you actually feel for them. But how would this work in a 2-2.5 hour-long scenario, on the silver... Read→

Assassin’s Creed 2 DRM Is Excessively Ridiculous

Posted by Connor on February - 20 - 2010

Digital Rights Management (herein DRM) has been taken to greater, more ridiculous heights as of late, and Ubisoft’s announcement about the DRM in place for Assassin’s Creed 2 just ups the ante. DRM is put in place to deter piracy across many different types of media. Does it work? Of course not! If pirates want something for free, they will get it. Simple as that. All DRM does is hurt the people paying for the media. That means that the... Read→

A short trailer codenamed “Vengeance” has just been released showing off some of Kratos best electro-violence. If you look closely you can see Kratos on the arm of Gaia fighting against the “Leviathan” water creature, giving you a sneak peek of the scale in this game. God of War... Read→

As one of the greatest shooting games ever made, Call of Duty Modern Warfare seemed to have it all; great graphics, an exciting story line, awesome gameplay, and cool multiplayer features.
